I believe this explains the Great Depression for African-American workers becuase it shows they had to work for next-to-no money to continue on in life.

Its a waiting room made specifically for Non-white citizens to wait for the train. l notice a Black citizen waiting directly under the sign. I see the words "Colored Waiting room" l think this might've been made to show the discrimination against African Americans.
